1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Idea Validator application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms govern your use of the App provided by Jade Rose Technology ("JRT", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

The Idea Validator is a free, client-side web application that helps users evaluate and think through business or app ideas before spending major time or money. The App generates a score and verdict (Validate, Tweak, or Pivot) based on the quality and specificity of your answers. You can validate unlimited ideas at no cost. After validation, users have the option to explore JRT's paid implementation services.

Key features: Idea input, 6 strategic questions, instant scoring and verdict, backup/export functionality, optional PIN lock security, and optional JRT service recommendations.

3. JRT Responsibilities

As the developer and operator of the Idea Validator, Jade Rose Technology is responsible for the following:

• App Functionality: Maintaining the core validation engine — the 6-question assessment, scoring algorithm, and verdict generation — so it operates as described.
• Data Integrity: Ensuring that backup export and import features work correctly and that data stored locally on your device (via localStorage) is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Security Features: Providing the PIN lock feature (SHA-256 hashed with salt) as an optional security measure to protect access to your app data on your device.
• Accessibility: Keeping the App available as a free web application accessible from any modern browser, with no account, sign-up, or payment required to use the core validation feature.
• Bug Fixes & Updates: Addressing reported bugs and releasing updates to improve the App's functionality and user experience.
• Transparency: Clearly communicating any changes to these Terms, the App's features, or usage policies before they take effect.

4. Optional Paid Support Services

While the Idea Validator core feature is free, JRT offers optional, fee-based technology services for users who want to take their validated idea further. These services are entirely optional and are not required to use the App.

• ⚙️ Productive Workflow Planning: Help creating a more productive workflow around the idea and how it should operate day to day.
• 🧭 Business Concept Structuring: Help planning and structuring the business concept so the idea is clearer, tighter, and easier to execute.
• 📱 App & Digital Tool Development: Help building app ideas, internal tools, customer-facing software, and other digital products tied to the idea.
• 🌐 Business Website Creation: Help creating business websites, landing pages, and other web assets needed to support the idea.
• 🛠️ Technology Stack Guidance: Help shaping the technology stack, systems, and implementation path needed to support the business.
• 🤝 Custom Implementation Services: Other custom technology and implementation services as needed once the idea is ready to move forward.

Important: Paid JRT services are separate from the free Idea Validator App. Engaging JRT for paid services creates a separate service agreement. Prices, timelines, and deliverables for paid services are determined on a per-project basis through consultation. The contact link in the App does not obligate you to purchase any services.

5. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful evaluation of your own business ideas.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the App.
• Keep your PIN secure if you choose to enable the app lock feature.
• Back up your data regularly using the export feature — JRT cannot recover data lost from your device.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Idea Validator provides a simplified, rule-based scoring system. It is not financial, legal, or professional advice. The verdict and scores are generated from your input alone and should not be the sole basis for business decisions. JRT is not liable for any actions taken or not taken based on the App's output.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. JRT does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the App will meet your specific needs.

7. Unlimited Use

The Idea Validator is free and unlimited — you can validate as many ideas as you want at no cost. Features, availability, and optional paid services may change, but the core validation feature remains free to use.

8. Data & Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. JRT does not collect, transmit, or store your ideas, answers, or scores on any server. You are responsible for backing up your data using the export feature. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Modifications

JRT may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the App or our website.
